Jakarta - Pemerintah dan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) hari ini melakukan rapat kerja untuk membahas rencana kerja dan anggaran tahun 2017 setelah disepakati pembahasan di Badan Anggaran. Dalam rapat tersebut, anggota Komisi XI Hendrawan Supratikno sempat menanyakan rencana pemerintah untuk melakukan pemindahan Ibu Kota. Ia mempertanyakan terkait rencana tersebut di tengah efisiensi yang harus dilakukan oleh pemerintah dalam anggarannya. Seperti diketahui, Bappenas dalam perubahan anggarannya di tahun 2017 memasukkan alokasi Rp 7 miliar untuk kajian pemindahan Ibu Kota.

At the January 22 Public Hearing regarding the facility project, the Board selected facility projects totaling $41.01 million to be submitted to the State of Minnesota for “review & comment.” Projects that were selected create a financial ceiling, which, once submitted and approved by the state, cannot be exceeded.

 

At the February 5 Special Board Meeting, the Board finalized the scope of the projects:

 

Auditorium: 800-seats, dressing rooms, scene shop, and lobby 

 

$10,765,000

Field House: 4 stations with elevated jogging track, community room, fitness center, locker rooms, changing rooms, concessions, public restrooms, and 200 added parking spaces

 

$15,350,000

Baseball Complex with 3 regulation fields (1 with lighting) concessions stand, parking lot, convert existing JV baseball field to softball field, and add lighting to varsity softball field

 

$2,175,000

Career Tech Ed Remodel: 2,040 ft2 addition for large projects bay, Fab Lab, relocate botany and taxidermy and add coolers, and rebuild small engine storage

 

$900,000

Deferred maintenance projects:

 

 

Electronic door control (14) and intrusion alarm integration, elementary camera system upgrade, high school camera replacement and add 12 cameras

 

$395,000

 

Replace 20-25 year old Ballasted EPDM roofs with 30 year guarantee (40 year life) Garland roofs

 

$3,135,000

 

Replace 1961 elementary classroom windows

 

$255,000

 

Pool deferred maintenance needs (re-grouting, tile base, main drain grates, LED lighting, replace interior doors, ADA lift)

 

$65,000

 

Total project scope projects to potentially go to vote

At the February 20 Regular Board Meeting, the Board will vote on a resolution calling a Special Election. If the resolution passes, voters will have the opportunity to vote on the projects on May 8. The ballot question would be:

 

Shall the School Board of Independent School District No. 912 (Milaca), Minnesota, be authorized to issue general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $33,385,000, for acquisition and betterment of school sites and facilities, including vocational education & building trades space, various deferred maintenance projects inclusive of roofing, pool, windows and security, a performing arts center, and a field house with community exercise and meeting space?
